Synopsy: Samba is an adaption from French writer Delphine Coulin’s book; Samba Pour La France. This movie is about Samba, a senegalese immigrant who is living in France illegally and who for the past 10 years has been doing odd jobs in order to survive. He is trying to get his situation sorted and while doing so he meets Alice a volonteer in an association for immigrants rights. Alice is a young woman who feels burnt out by her demanding job as a executive in a big company and in order to fight her budging depression she devotes her time helping other people less fortunate then herself.
Alice who is assigned Samba’s case will try to help him out and along the way, both will share a strong bond that neither of them was expecting.
